Some of the symptoms of hearing loss in children are:
They do not pay attention to the person who is talking to them.
They do not react to surrounding sounds such as the sound of the phone.
They sit at a short distance from the TV.
They use television, radio and loud audio devices.
They shake their head continuously and cannot identify the source of the sound.
They drop in school grades (because they can't hear the teacher's voice).
They complain of ringing in their ears (tinnitus).
They mispronounce words.
They speak loudly.
They seem careless and prone to daydreaming.
