Hearing aids consist of small electrical components that may wear out and malfunction over time.  If your hearing aid is malfunctioning, you should probably visit your hearing care professional for a thorough evaluation and checkup. Factors such as hearing aid aging and use for more than three years, exposure to moisture, excessive earwax, falling or  Physical damage can cause the hearing aid to malfunction.  In this context, your audiologist should evaluate the amount of repairs needed.
